Description
HeaterLogix ceramic strip heater is a stainless steel sheath containing a high-temperature ceramic insulating a Nickel Chrome wire coil. Magnesium Oxide (MgO) fills all the air pockets within the sheath providing the best heat transfer possible. HeaterLogix ceramic strip heaters are 3/8 inch thick, 1 1/2 inch wide and have other configurable options to suit your application. Additionally these strip heaters are suitable for high or low watt density applications. These strip heaters can have finned or flat construction to allow for different heat transfer, specific to your application.
HeaterLogix ceramic strip heater provides the ability to withstand high temperatures that usually limit 40 to 45 watts per square inch. Each terminal has a stainless steel construction and connect permanently to the sheath to prevent twisting out under normal conditions. Furthermore HeaterLogix offers multiple options for terminations. These come standard with 2-leg (single phase) termination but have an optional 3-leg (3-phase) terminal when necessary. Also these terminations have the water resistance option for moist environments. The strip heater is UL approved and has warranty coverage up to 480 volts.
